PRIVACY NOTICE FOR PARTICIPANTS IN PROJECT TALENT TO DENMARK
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Notice is intended to provide you with information on how and for which purposes Copenhagen Capacity and the project partners, including International House North Denmark, collects and process your personal information in relation with your participation in the activities in the project Talent to Denmark (Introduction seminars for international citizens, Support systems for companies when recruiting international citizens, matchmaking events and activities for international students and graduates in North Denmark) (the ‘Activities’).
We will only process your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law to which we are subject, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) (hereinafter the "GDPR").
Please note that this Privacy Notice only relates to your participation in the Activities. It is important that you read this Privacy Notice and any other privacy notices we or other partners may provide in order to notify you of all our current and future processing activities, in compliance with our information obligations under the GDPR.
2. WE ARE JOINT DATA CONTROLLERS
Copenhagen Capacity and International House North Denmark are joint data controllers and have jointly determined the purposes and means of the processing of your personal data in relation to the Activities. We have entered into an agreement on our joint controllership to allocate our respective responsibilities for compliance with the obligations under GDPR. 3. PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS AND THE PURPOSES
Project Talent to Denmark receives public funding. To receive the funding, we are required to submit documentation for your participation to Erhvervsstyrelsen (The Danish Business Authority).
When you participate in the Activities you are requested to fill out a declaration including:
a) Name
b) CPR-no.
c) E-mail address
d) Activities in which you participate
If you do not provide the required information you will not be able to participate in the Activities.
4. OUR LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will only process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law to which we are subject. Our lawful bases for processing your personal data are:
a) CPR-no: The Data Protection Act § 11 section 1 (unique identification by public authorities)
b) Other information: GDPR article 6 section 1 para e) (performance of task carried out in the public interest and exercise of official authority)
5. WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH
We may share your Personal Data with:
a) Erhvervsstyrelsen (The Danish Business Authority) as documentation of eligibility to receive public funding
b) We may share your Personal data with third parties, when required to do so by law.
6. TRANSFER OF YOU PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
We will not transfer the personal information we collect about you to recipients established outside the EU.
7. THE PERIOD IN WHICH WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Erhvervsstyrelsen has requested us to retain documentation for our eligibility to receive public funding until the expiry of year 2033 and we will retain your personal information accordingly.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT
Under certain circumstances, you have the right to:
a) Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
b) Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
c) Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
d) Object to processing of your personal information for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest and exercise of official authority and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground.
e) Request the restriction (suspension) of processing of your personal information.
f) Request the transfer of your personal information to another party (also known as data portability).

If you believe or suspect that we process your Personal Data in an unlawful manner you may lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (The Data Protection Authority) at: https://www.datatilsynet.dk/databeskyttelse/klage-til-datatilsynet.
