Privacy policy

Your personal data is safe with us.

Your personal data is any kind of information that can be attributed to you. We register your personal data to the extent that you yourself explicitly consent to, or when you send us or enter information on our website. This might be contact information, including name, e-mail address, municipality of resident and possibly phone number, and it will typically be in connection with you having signed up for our newsletter or contacted us – so we can reply you or send you news from International House North Denmark. We also encourage you to use secure digital mail via borger.dk or MitID when you contact us.

Your information will be safely stored in Aalborg Municipality’s IT system, which complies with the rules for processing personal data. We do not generally pass on your information to others. For your inquiries to us, however, we must pass them on to the archives authorities upon deletion. It is stated in the Archives Act. We only store your information as long as it is necessary, and you can always revoke your consent. In that case, this only applies in the future – your information will be deleted, and you will no longer be able to receive our newsletter.

If you have questions or wish to revoke your consent, you are welcome to contact Project Coordinator, Rikke Harboe at email rhar@aalborg.dk.

Read more about data protection and your rights on the Data Inspectorate’s website.
