Engaging with the Region – Online and On-site
At International House North Denmark, we aim to offer relevant initiatives that benefit both international citizens and local companies. Most of our events take place at our venue on Rantzausgade 6 in Aalborg, but we also host online activities to ensure accessibility for participants across the region.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to work closely with a wide range of partners and frequently co-host events together.

Our annual events
Each year we have 2 main big events:
Internationals’ Fair North Denmark - Every year International House North Denmark organises an Internationals’ Fair to introduce and connect newcomers and expats to public, private, and volunteer organisations.
Diversity Evening - An annual cooperation with Aalborg Zoo & Aalborg Municipality’s Integration Council held at the Zoo.

Diversity Evening
A Celebration of Community and Culture
Each year, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Municipality’s Integration Council, and International House North Denmark invite all international residents to a special evening celebrating diversity and togetherness.
Diversity Evening is a free, family-friendly event where internationals living in Aalborg can come together, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere of the zoo after hours. Bring your friends and family and join us for a cozy, informal get-together in beautiful surroundings.
You’re welcome to bring your own food and make use of the zoo’s barbecue area - or purchase food and drinks from the on-site restaurant.
